WHY DO WE NEED GOD?

We need God because, He fixes our broken lives. It is our belief that we can make it without God that leads to brokenness. 1. John 1:5-9 We need God because He does what we cannot do, and He undoes what we have done to ourselves. God hurts over our rejection of him. Jeremiah 2:5-8 “What fault did your ancestors find in me, that they strayed so far from me”? They followed worthless idols and became worthless themselves. 6. They did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD, who brought us up out of Egypt and led us through the barren wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines a land of drought and utter darkness, a land where no one travels, and no one lives? 7. I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and rich and produce but you came and defiled my land and made my Inheritance detestable. 8. The priests did not ask, ‘Where is the LORD? Those who deal with the law did not know me; the leaders rebelled against me.

The prophets prophesied by Baal, following worthless idols… We can trust a God who loves us so deeply and who offers us so much. Jeremiah 39:18 “I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.” We must be careful not conclude in our hearts that we do not need God. We Need Him because He is the giver of life, the lily of the valley. We need Him because he fixes our broken lives. That is why we need God – He does what we cannot do, and He undoes what we have done to ourselves. We Need Him because He is the giver of life. We need Him because he fixes our broken lives. That is why we need God – He does what we cannot do, and He undoes what we have done to ourselves.

God uses problems to INSPECT us – People are like teabags to know what’s inside them, just drop them into hot water! Has God ever tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience. (James 1:2-3, NCV). ” We need God because He is the source of spiritual life”.
