Who is GOD?

Many feel it is impossible to know God. However, Acts 17:26-28 tells us one man created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him although, he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. We are his offspring.’ Knowing God better can add purpose and meaning to our life.

The closer we move to God, the more he loves and helps us. “Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world James 4:8. What we should note is that, having an adequate knowledge of God can lead to everlasting life John 17:3 (And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth).

Coming closer to God, is like you having a close friend, think about how you start your friendship; getting to know their name, their personality, their do’s and don’ts, what they’ve done, and what they’ve plan not to do. This same process is applicable to knowing God. Similarly, we can come to know God considering the following:
What is God’s name?
What is God like?
What has God done?
What will God do?
What can knowing God mean for us?
This message is to help you not only to know God, but also to know and reflect on what he has in store for you as you come into a personal relationship with him.
